What Can I Do?
Web application redesign – I reorganized and redesigned two legacy web applications with a focus on functionality, usability, and ease of maintenance for future enhancements. Layouts were designed entirely with CSS with a focus on strict separation of content, style, and behavior.
Flash based image viewer with hot spotting – Starting with the Zoomify application I developed a Flash based image viewer with hot spot capabilities. The project also involved extending the base Zoomify functionality to include communication between JavaScript and ActionScript to support hot spotting within the graphics. This provided a higher level of usability for the user by connecting page contents to the image viewer and vice versa.
Image editing and creation – All projects had the ongoing task of creating page layouts, banners, animated GIFS, and various other web related images. Depending on image requirements the tools I used included Adobe Photoshop, Flash, and Fireworks.
Interactive search and results – By implementing JavaScript effects libraries I was able to quickly create an interactive search module with a high level of presentation feedback. Using the JavaScript libraries allowed me to implement more features into the application within project deadline restraints.
